SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SMPHI), through the SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc. (SMLEI), continues on its partnership with International Basketball Academy of the Philippines (IBAP) as the principal sponsor for the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) League.

"SM has been proudly supporting NBTC since 2015, as we believe in what they stand for : to champion the skills of the Filipino youth through sports development by applying the values of leadership, teamwork, excellence, and discipline," says SMPHI Chairman to the Executive Committee Hans T. Sy. "This is why we extended our support to NBTC, so that we can help more Filipino youth reach their true potential.

NBTC that is already on it 11th season is a year-round grassroots program that aims to identify, prepare, and develop outstanding players in public and private high schools around the country by being part of a national youth basketball league. 

"Every year that we have been organizing the tournament, we have redined it to what it is now - a premier showcase for high school basketball," said SM-NBTC Founder Eric Altamirano. "We have sen it grow from an initial few cities to over 70 cities all over the country."

Kiefer Ravena, Terrence Romeo, Jeron Teng, and Troy Rosario are some of the basketball players who started with NBTC and now moved successfully to collegiate and professional leagues.

"As part of the SM group, Mall of Asia Arena is also in proud support of SM-NBTC League by providing a venue with world-class facilities," says SMLEI Chief Operating Officer Herman Medina-Cue. "Mall of Asia Arena is truly the home of the most popular sport in the Philippines - basketball - as the major leagues that players aim for are all under one eye-conic roof."
SM-NBTC League National Finals is happening from March 18 to 23, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The weeklong national finals and the annual high school all-star game gears up with 32 high school basketball teams, including champion teams from various leagues all the Philippines, as well as from Filipino communities based in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States of America, all competing to stand out as the best high school team for this season.

Presented by Exped Charcoal Socks, with Darlington, Freego, and Chooks to Go are this season's co-presenters, together with Cherifer, Petron, and Vivo as the major sponsor. Also in support are Hino, Akari, Oishi, Gerry's Grill, and Molten (the official ball of SM-NBTC League).

The Get Your Child Into Sports campaign features in MILO’s different sports programs. MILO’s first sports offerings for 2018 is the MILO Summer Sports Clinics, the longest running and most participated sports program in the country. Now on its 35th year, the sports clinics available nationwide teaches children a wealth of character-developing values and physical benefits which make them better in sports, and at the same time, prepare them for the challenges of life.

A Dream Came True with a Red Ribbon: Scarlet Snow as a Rainbow Chaser.

Scarlet Snow joins Red Ribbon's growing family

Scarlet Snow Belo-Kho was recently introduced as Red Ribbon's newest brand ambassador. This is Baby Scarlet's first major endorsement. Of course aside from her family’s  (Belo) brand. According to Doc Hayden, when they ask Scarlet what she wanna be when she grows up, she answered "I want to be a dermatologist and a Rainbow Chaser!

Her dream came true with a Red Ribbon. :) Together with her parents  Hayden Kho and Vicky Belo, The adorable Scarlet Snow, also a social media sweetheart with a huge following of 2 million lang naman (Instagram account managed by Hayden Kho) attended the Rainbow Chaser event of Red Ribbon. Scarlet is the newest Rainbow Chaser who is fascinated by the Red Ribbon’s Rainbow Dedication Cake and the event also served as her launching day being their endorser.

Scarlet Snow birthday is last March 3 and a couple of days before her special day Red Ribbon prepared a surprise treat for her.

Scarlet Snow is set to share some color and joy, just like Red Ribbon’s colorful birthday cake, in her newest commercial with her fellow Rainbow Dedication Cake-loving cartoon friends, Don and the Rainbow Chasers.

I haven't been everywhere, But I'll get there. -That's my favorite quote this 2018. I want to explore the world, to see natures unique beauty,  witness amazing sunsets/sunrise from different places, to experience another culture, to have a taste and enjoy the flavors of the world, and take home new learnings. I know I just started on this traveling journey. And I wish I'll go places that I really, really like, hope, and prayed for. Now, I specifically want to see and start with Asia. Being loaded with tasks at home like daily chores, blogging gigs, and mommy duties, even the "planning" thing for future trips is impossible to do and most of the time we set it aside and too bad sometimes we just forgot about it. Luckily, trade fairs are frequent happenings in our favorite malls.  Just take a look at this one titled Citarasa Malaysia.

It took place at Glorietta's Activity Center and is open to the public from March 11 until March 18 only, This is Malaysia's Promotion Programme, showcasing Malaysia's delectable food,  products, cultural show, tourism, and so much more. With 25 companies from Malaysia and the Philippines, food and the halal section will participate in the exhibit and business matching programme.
