Captain ZERO Unveiled as an Innovative Cockroach Bait!

The internet has been abuzz the past few months about a mysterious superhero character which came out on a Facebook Page by the name of Captain ZERO. Curious netizens and bloggers alike gave their share of guesses on who (or what) the dark silhouette could be. Hunches included a 'new TV show', an 'energy drink', and a 'slimming product'; the best guess was a ‘household cleaning product’.

Captain ZERO Revealed Last November 17, 2016, the guessworks ended as WINZO International Corporation, the company behind Captain ZERO, unveiled the product as an innovative cockroach bait Everyone among the media guests at the launch which consists of writers and bloggers were surprised as no one among them was able to exactly guess that Captain ZERO was a cockroach bait.

"A clean home means a healthy family as bacteria and germs brought about by dust and pest such as cockroaches and rats can carry diseases through contaminated food, kitchen counters, and utensils," Ms. Labii talked about the importance of cleanliness at home and shared some of her experiences as a medical professional, a food entrepreneur, and as a mother.

This product is cockroach bait that can play a big role in eliminating cockroaches in areas where food is found including moist areas such as kitchen, bathrooms & garages, which these pests love. It has a unique luring action that attracts and makes these bugs feed on the paste and lets them return to their harbourages, controlling them at their source. Cockroaches who eat the bait will eventually die in a few minutes or hours depending on the size and type of the bug. The formulation is a combination of very low toxic compounds while the main active ingredient is called Trihydroxyborane.

How To Use Captain ZERO Cockroach Bait
Empty one sachet in small shallow containers such as bottle caps. You can place these in moist places such as bathroom, kitchen sink, garage areas, and backyards or in places where cockroaches are frequently found. Some reports have indicated that a sachet can kill as much as 18 roaches and last for as much as 15 days (2 weeks) depending on the density of bugs in the area.

Here is a simple 3-Step guide on how to use the Captain ZERO Cockroach Bait
1. Open #CaptainZEROph sachet and pour into a shallow container.
2. Place container where many cockroaches are seen.
3. Leave for a few days until no more cockroaches are seen.
#ZEROangIPIS

This product is recommended to be used as a weekly regimen. Empty one sachet in separate locations (kitchen, bathrooms, garages) where there are food & heavy moisture every 1- 2 weeks to maintain a pest free environment. Although the active ingredients are low toxic to humans and animals, is still best to keep it away from children and house pets. If it is accidentally applied on the skin or eyes, simply remove it by washing the area thoroughly.

"Captain ZERO is an innovative product because it is the first cockroach bait in liquid paste form. Moreover, is the first Filipino-made cockroach bait. It is also budget friendly at only Php 15 per 10 gram sachet compared to other expensive brands in the market today,” shares Mr. Winston Tongco, President, Winzo International Corporation. It will also be on the shelves of all Puregold Supermarkets nationwide, in packs of 10s and boxes of 20s, starting January 2017

Festive family treats without the bad stuff
Noche Buena can just be as healthy as it is delicious
Christmas in the Philippines is like no other. With all the festive colors, bright lights, and jolly carols that play as early as September, it’s not surprising that Yuletide takes a different flavor in a country where the holiday lasts a season.
This is especially true about the food. Filipino Christmas is never complete without the scrumptious delicacies served throughout December, especially on Noche Buena.

St. Nicholas Catering by Chef Nick has a new venture and here's a clue, It is still in the scope of food industry... It's St.Nicholas Restaurant!

Sige na nga, that punchline didn't went so well but this post is a great one, though.

The Restaurant

St. Nicholas Restaurant is located in a spacious area at Brgy Plainview in Mandaluyong. Nothing fancy but there's a lot going on. There's a corner with lots of paper lanterns hanging, a Japanese inspired side. Also, a Pinoy corner where images of some popular landmarks where seen. Plus the not-to-be-missed Christmas side with Humungous Teddy and a couple of St.Nicholas displays were spotted too. Bes, si Santa Claus, Just livin' in up to the branding :) The venue is not air conditioned or with enclosed glass panels like the usual resto's I've been into. But this place? hindi naman magpapahuli, lalo na sa FOOD! Plus Afford naten toh (^.^,)

What's on my plate?

Almost everything (^.^,) I love everything they had in this bilao. Most especially the hot and juicy shrimps. I just wished that the liempo was cooked the ihaw way or without breading for contrast, making it more appealing. But still, it was delightful.

Tinolang Manok sa Pakwan - Having a pakwan in a soup is not new to me. I loved it in sinigang :P But for Tinola? I was not expecting this. But amazed that I like it. Actually, I want to try making this at home. :)
