There's No Place like Manila.
My ideal summer vacay? It'll be a trip to the awesome beaches of Palawan or get up North to my happy place that I call Baguio. But when I was younger, summer vacay means staying at home and or playing on the streets that I do and I grew up to. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Manila. But even being here and living in this lovely city for 30-ish years, I admit I haven't explored it to bits. Now that I'm more into creating my content for the blog I have this idea that maybe, just maybe I can start exploring the city and share it with the world. Naks! I sound so dreamy! Follow me?
So here's a quick tour of my hometown,
I'll be featuring the Fort Santiago. One of the most historical sites in Manila.

I was hoping for a good weather but just like that, it turned out grey and gloomy.
And actually, it rained... it heavily rained. huhu so sad...

But not long after that, comes the summer sun.

Fort Santiago was built by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi as a new official city, Manila. This also serves as a defense hub and is connected to the walled city known as Intramuros.
Many lives were lost in its prison during the Spanish Colonial Era and World War II. Even, Dr. Jose Rizal was imprisoned here before being executed in 1896. Those footsteps in bronze represent his final walk from his cell to Bagumbayan.
Ok, Ok... I'm not that good in history and I'm not here to lecture you. For I know there are tons of great sites and experts for that. So for now, in this post, I'll be making it very, very light and will just tour you around. Real Quick.

And that's the end of our super quick tour inside Fort Santiago. I'm so sorry there are lots of spots that I wasn't able to take a photo of. The reason was people are so busy touring. At first, I was patient enough to wait for my turn, to snap that perfect shot but there are times na parang di nauubos yung mga tao! So I decided to just enjoy the tour with DaddyO.

This is the part that I am really proud of. There are tons of historical sites to visit here in Manila. If you were a fan of old buildings, churches, and food? This is definitely the place to be! I love old building and churches too and honestly, noon, Vigan is on top of my list pa! But when I was able to see it for myself, I was like "Uhm, ito na yun? Hahaha, sorry na, but Love ko naman talaga ang Empanada, Bagnet at KBL nila!

After a day of adventure, gutom kicks in :) We decided to have a late lunch at SM Manila just beside Manila City hall.

My thoughts about this Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite?
At first glance, it looks like a normal bar phone in white and gold. But the rear camera is still there the ASUS kind of way, at the top center. The curves and its edge was different too and I like how it felt on my hand and fingertips. Also, for me, it was a bit lightweight and small, like any moment I can drop it :P Sorry but I prefer bigger screens so I'm biased on this part. Good thing it comes with a clear bumper case.
A few days of using this unit. I was kinda frustrated for I can't achieve the focus and sharpness I wanted. It seems some of my photo's where a bit blurry and sometimes dull. But there's an explanation to that. I am more into using my DSLR and my other phone with 21mp. And maybe because hindi ko pa sya kabisado much. So ok, it's a mismatch :) That's why I'm giving this baby another chance. After a couple of days, I put this unit to a test and so much more and HALA! may mga tinatago pala sya ganda.
