Felt so lucky that I was invited at the FisherFarms Event last Dec2014
so why (posting) just now?
It's not that I'm busy or something, it's about me wanting my 2015 to start Fresh, Right, and Healthy as I've said on my recent post. And this product just left a major impact on me (why? will make kwento so read on)
loving you, was RED...

let me just say this...
this is the largest bangus I have ever seen in my 28years of existence
di ako maka move on promise!!!
and according to Ms. Imelda may mas malalaki pa jan sa farm nila
and I said "ma'am yung totoo pa-dinosaur na toh noh?" and we end up laughing :)
actually this made me teary-eyed talaga :(
so here's the kwento...
My Pappi, as I've said on my other blog post specially sa mga food reviews, he is really magaling sa pagluluto, because he is a househusband kaya nya siguro na master hahaha peace pappi! :)
during our younger days (aged 5-10, I know, I remeber my childhood days talaga) inaasar namin sya na pag day-off ni mama is fiesta (dahil nagluluto si mama ng ulam, iba sa umaga at iba sa gabi, si pappi kasi kung anu ulam sa umaga yun na din sa gabi and madalas delata pa or bili sa labas :P)
so malamang that hit him, hahaha and the tables were turned during our highschool days where in di na kami excited sa luto ni mama :P up to the point na we asked first sino nag luto? pag sinabing si mama ok, kain small portions (kasi maliit na volume lang magluto talaga) and kelngan tirhan pa ung di nakakakain. pero pag sinabing "papa" ay away away na toh :"P hahahha
and ako: "ay naku!!! wala bang lechon kawali? adobo? or paksiw na pata?
he said: WALA! kung ayaw nyo kumain diwag :<
yan ang motto sa bahay, kainin kung ano nasa mesa pag di mo kinain asahan mo next day yan ulit ang ulam :P and totoo yan because yung mga kapatid ko ayaw ng chicken curry, hala nag hunger strike sila :P pero di nagpatalo si papa hahaha. ayun natuto din sila kumain. as for me ayoko ng sinigang sa miso :( and sila like nila pero ako pag ayaw ko ayaw ko talaga :P good thing masinop ako sa pera kaya nakakabili ako sardinas for myself kaya walang hunger strike :P
mahaba toh... pero sige na!
one time sinama ko sa bahay si boyfie and may relleno sa mesa, nasa taas si pappi so naririinig nya usapan namin ni boyfie.
me: kain ka na ng isda :P luto ko yan (isda talaga hahaha and p.s si papa nag luto)
boyfie: ui ang sarap ng luto mo
me: halata nga dami mo na kain... (si papa nababa...)
papa: sarap ba luto ni yatot? (my nickname sa bahay)
boyfie: opo nga eh nachamba ata.
papa: OO nakachamba talaga!
well true that pappi!
di na kami sing-gana ng before
but I don't know if it's the Magic or Spirit of Christmas, kasi sa lungkot lungkutan na face ko, naamoy ko yung Rellenong Bangus and OH MY!!! naalala ko si pappi, plus it did awaken my senti senses amoy yummy!!!
and mas interesado ako sa sausages and gourmet selections, kasi feeling ko relleno is just relleno. pero my hubby insisted na give it a try and not saying any word at all and serious pa sya.
so I tried and... iiyak na ba ako?
if I were to grade Pappi's Relleno it would be 8/10
but that was then...
after tasting the Gourmet Baked Rellenong Bangus of FisherFarms...
Masarap Promise! I'm not a fan of relleno talaga, and lalo na ang raisins but this is truly the best tasting Rellenong Bangus I have tried! so this would be 9/10
The whole bangus is stuffed with a savory filling of fish, sweet potato, bangus belly, shrimp and other premium and special ingredients that give a holiday twist to this traditional dish. Juicy and flavorful but not cloying like its fried counterparts, the Gourmet Baked Rellenong Bangus makes any celebration merry and healthy. Unlike the traditional rellenong bangus, this is baked and not fried, which cuts down considerably on the fat content without sacrificing flavor. The relleno comes in three generous sizes to suit the Filipino family: 800-grams, 1.1 kilos, and 1.3 kilos. With bangus this big, you can definitely share the feast but not the fat. -FisherFarms

having a lil talk about the Gourmet Baked Rellenong Bangus.
Ms. Marina had tried this Rellenong Bangus and her guest loved it and were always amazed how big the fish is, naging attraction :) And she always say na "di ka mapapahiya if you bring this to a party or potlucks"
Ms. Regine, liked the idea na it's fish and it's baked, because she is very meticulous on her family's diet and she always up for fast preparation cause she's a super busy mom, celebrity, host, and businesswoman but still wanting good food much more importantly Healthy,

with FisherFarms CEO Ms. Imelda Madarang
had the chance to ask her about the Gourmet Baked Rellenong Bangus,
I asked: Madam, anong meron sa Rellenong Bangus nyo? Super Flavorful pero di nakakaumay and kanina ko pa iniisip kung anong combi of spices un. may pickles ba? or singkamas? and grabe mam' ang lake, pa-dinosoar na po ba sya?
Ms. Imelda: hahaha, naku iha may mas malalaki pa jan sa farm.
May shrimp, sweet potato, pasas....
ME: PASAS???
Ms Imelda: yes why?
for your reference :) see how big it is?
Smoked Deboned Bangus pa lang yan... mas malaki pa ung Relleno :)
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed being there and writing this while remembering my father kahit may pagka mahaba.:)
